Partnerships
Western Sports Compass considers collaborations and partner placements that make sense for readers interested in community sport, participation and shared sporting spaces.
Relevant collaborations
We consider clearly scoped projects such as reader resources, event or programme explainers, and collaborations with organisations whose work is relevant to community sport. Any proposal should describe the audience, format, intended contribution and commercial relationship. We do not imply that a collaboration gives a partner editorial control.
Partner placements
We accept selected partner placements on the site when they fit the subject and can be presented clearly. Each paid placement or partner-produced item is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Placement does not mean that Western Sports Compass verifies or endorses every claim made by a partner.
Start a conversation
Send a concise proposal through the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the proposed subject, format, audience and nature of the relationship. We will consider whether it fits the publication and can be presented transparently; sending a proposal does not guarantee acceptance.
Sport grows when more people can take part
A welcoming sporting culture is built in ordinary places: a clear invitation, shared equipment and room to learn at your own pace.
